The purpose of this site is to provide information to those interested in attending either (or both!) of the Lutheran Community Camps held in Southcentral Alaska in February and August of each year. Come join us in a weekend of worship and fellowship with other Lutherans from around Alaska! Pastor Marty Dasler of Amazing Grace Lutheran in Anchorage will be leading the weekend Bible study and Sunday morning worship service.

Lutheran Winter Camp Information
Who: All Alaskan Lutherans- singles, couples, families and guests

When: February 10-12, 2012

Where: Victory Bible Camp at Mile 95 of the Glenn Highway (Northeast of Palmer). Click here for a map.

What to Bring: Sleeping bags, pillows, outdoor clothing appropriate for the season, and a snack to share with the group.

More Details: Spend Friday night through Sunday afternoon at the breathtakingly beautiful Victory Bible Camp. Only an hour and a half drive from Anchorage, the facilities at Victory provide heated cabins with bunks, flush toilets and hot showers in the wilderness surroundings that help you leave worldly cares behind and encourage rejuvenation of the spirit and reconnection with each other and our Creator. With plenty of opportunities for recreation-- both indoor and outdoor-- and meals provided, this is the perfect weekend getaway for just about anyone! Good news! We will be staying in the conference center housing again this year, so there’s less climbing for our more mature campers!

Cost: Fees for Lutheran Camp include cabin rental with access to flush toilets and hot water showers, all meals (Saturday: breakfast, lunch & dinner; Sunday: breakfast & lunch) and fees for outdoor activities like inner tubing, skiing, ice skating and use of the gymnasium. Thanks to a grant from the Alaska Synod, we are able to offer a discounted rate for youth to age 17. Specific pricing is below:

Adults 18 and up: $114
Youth 11-17: $57
Children 3-10: $28.50
Children 0-2: $0.00
